  • Trouble with the PO Lice?!!?

Last weekend, my cousin, Eddie Hyung visited LA all the way from NY.  I havn't seen my hyung for like 7 years so I made a trip up to LA to spend time with him this weekend.  I must make a shout out to him for being such a good hyung, showing me a good time, paying for everything, and just being the great hyung he's always been. I love you man.

This is where I get in trouble with the POLICE ( not cus of my hyung btw)

On tuesday evening, I received a phone call from my mother and she told me to listen to a message that was left at our home. The message sounded something like this, "Hello, my name is Officer Wolfe from the Southern California High Patrol Investigation Services Unit, and I am looking for Kevin Nho regarding case number: FT06-193. Please call me back at 323-644-9550...."

    To be Continued......

(This was good right? You're like DANG, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!)

After hearing this, I was in utter disbelief, and I told my mom to replay the message numerous times so I can really soak in and understand what he was trying to say.   Then, my mom became VERY anxious and started interrogating me and asking me if I did anything illegal over the weekend....  I called the number around 6pm, and the police department was closed at 5pm.  I started to become pretty anxious myself, fearing for my life.  I tried doing some research and I even looked up the area code (323).  Turns out, that's near hollywood, which is exactly where I stayed this weekend.  At this point, I realized the officer must be calling me regarding something I did in LA.  Then, all these thoughts started running through my mind. "Did I accidently run a red light? Was I speeding on the freeway? Did I hit and run and not even notice? Was there a crime at our hotel, and are they just asking me a few questions because I stayed at the hotel? Did I drove after a few drinks? No, we took a cab... and I wasn't even intoxicated.  Was it because I went to a korean club? Those places might have done somethign illegal... No way...." It made no sense.  I did nothing absolutely WRONG. Still, outrageous thoughts kept seaping through my mind and started eating away at my consciousness. "What If I did something wrong? What If I have to go to jail? I only have 2 months of school left....this is going bad bad bad..." And that second, I remembered I let my Hyung borrow my car.  I even called and asked if anything happened as he drove himself back to the hotel. But NOTHING happaned....

I was dumbfounded... I didn't do ANYTHING wrong, and an officer was out to get me.  The worst part was, the department would not open until 8 am the next day, so I was sitting here, freaking myself out and waiting impatiently until I found out WHY this officer Wolfe was out to get me.

    ...To be Continued.....

    (Haha okay, I'll stop)

This morning, I woke up at 9 am just to call the police department.  Wow, I must have been pretty anxious to call the police because I woke up with the phone in my hand. haha. Anyways....I stepped outside of my room and dialed the number to the police department. I got transfered over to Officer Wolfe, and the conversation went something like this....

Me: Hello, my name is Kevin Nho and I'm returning a call from last night...
Officer: O yeah. hmmm.. So... From what we have here, it appears that you have been trying to make a fake ID.
    Me: Excuse me?
Officer: Yeah, we have a fake ID with your information
(At this point, more outrageous, ridiculous thoughts were going through my mind.... "Did I ever make a fake? No...O shoot...maybe this is because some people were making fake ID's in LA and I was present....Did someone mistaken me and rat on me? Omg...."

    To be continued..........

(haha okay seriously, just trying to make this story a little suspensful just so you guys know the gravity of the situation)

Me: No sir... I have never made a fake ID.
Officer: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I'm sorry, YOU'RE the VICTIM.
    Me: What?
Officer: Turns out, someone has a got a hold of your social security number.  We don't know what they did with it, but we just know they made a card with your number on it, but a different name. We scanned the card, and the card turned out ot be fake. But we know you, and this number matches.  So what I want you do to is to check and run your cerdit report and make sure they didn't use any of your money.....
    Me: Okay...

DANG. WTF? SOMEONE IS TRYING TO STEAL MY IDENTITY?!?!? You mother effer. So yeah... Someone used my social security number and made a fake social security card..... I would have never thought this would happen to me.  My housemates were joking around saying I'm a lucky guy and I should go buy a lottery ticket right now....

So yeah, this is like the spiciest my life has been for a few days. haha.  I was pretty damn scared though....good thing everything's okay. Okay, not really "okay," but I didn't do anything wrong.

I hope you enjoyed my story.

    I love you guys.

  • Hola Amigos!

    Quarterly update I guess?

Remember when you would just line up, grab a recycled brown paper tray, fill it up with an apple, carrots you would never eat, a carton of chocolate milk, and if it was Wednesday, a cheeseburger from Mcdonalds, pay $1.75 (Dang, inflation must have kicked in because at some point, I started paying 2.50) and enjoy a balanced lunch? Nearly10 years have passed since such innocence....O how does time fly so fast...

Now take a moment to consider where I am at right now.  I'm twenty-two years old, finishing up my last quarter at UCSD, and anxiously wondering where my life will be post graduation.  Speaking of which....I'm SIXTY-NINE days away from being done with my last final. Maybe SIXTY-EIGHT if my teacher moves the test back to tenth week.... So, in 69 (68) days, I'll be done with my undergraduate career. I will be equipped with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.  If you count pre-school and kindergarten, I've been in school 18 out of the 22 years of my life, and pretty soon, Education and School will no longer be part of my daily routine.  For some people, this is scary. For me, it's liberation at its' complete, upmost, finest, potential. I can't wait. haha.

I HATE job searching...But on that note, I decided what I wanted to do. I want to go into marketing/advertising, because it has so much to do with the 4 years I have spent with psych.....(not).  But...I'm currently applying for internships for marketing to build my resume....

Anyways.  I had a good spring break...Don't really feel like there's much to say about it. Just chilling with people and celebrating birthdays.

BUT...This week back in SD was pretty fun. It's always nice to see familiar faces again after a break from school. Lot's of catching up to do.

    Such a pointless post....

I would like to introduce you to my robotic friend, Steve Ahn. He's programmed to run.

Steve Kang...look at ur fat cheeks. haha. O and the this Devil of a child is Eunice Joo. I think the reason why she's smiling so much is because she "pranked" me on April Fools. But before I give her credit for fooling me, let me explain, how I fooled her.  I called Eunice and told her  to come outside cus I would be dropping by to give her "something.".  But I didn't have anything to give her...AND the best part is, I didn't even come. So stupid Eunice was waiting outside, in the COLD, for a good 5 minutes, probably wondering what I was going to give her and where I was. haha....How funnny...

TO get me back, while we were at TGI Fridays, for some spirit and food, the waitress comes up to us and says. "I'm just going around all the tables to let you guys know that a teal Honda Accord is getting towed." After I heard that, I got up, boned out of my chair and ran for the door....I didn't have a teal car, but I know my car gets mistakened for alot of colors, so it had to have been me.  I looked out the window and my car was just glistening under the moonlight....I admit it was good.

    =] Hello friends

  • Xanga in Threat

It seems like xanga is threatened by the overwhelming influx of facebook.  I just signed in after a few months, and xanga went through a drastic transformation.  There you go baby, step up your game.  I never lost interest in you, xanga. Hmmm.. Xanga is getting pretty darn similar to facebook. I wonder if people are going to start using xanga more, now that it's like facebook....

Anyways... So I came to the delightful? realization that we are already in week 6 of spring quarter. Delightful? Indeed.  Week 6 entails that we're halfway through the quarter. No, we're more than half way through. We're 60% done. In turn, we only have 14 more weeks of school until we're done(not including finals).  Wow, the throught of being done with school is actually a bit frightening.  School was always part of my life.  Every school day you wake up with the dreadful realization that you have to go to school. But honestly, will I miss school? No, I don't think so.  I WILL miss hanging out with people, studying at Geisel, going to TGI late nights, and consuming heartattack burritos and fries at sergios. So, is it really delightful that schools going to end in 14 weeks? I don't know.

You know every year, every quarter you set a whole bunch of goals that you want to accomplish before the quarter or year ends? Do we ever really follow through with those?  I decided, to accomplish the goal of accomplishing my goals. Get it? I want to accomplish the goals that I actually set, and that'y my goal. In order to do that, I'm going to set my goals, right here.

    1. Build a strong relationship with God. Read the bible often and pray.
    2. Get Cut up. I lost 8 lbs.  I want to lose more, keep it off, and keep working out to build some muscles. This one is getting tougher because I'm already starting to screw up with my diet again.
    3. Get good(better) grades.  yeah....This one is pretty hard because I hate school, and I'm a slacker suffering with senioritis.

Hmmm...It seems like these are the only things I can really think of right now. But let's make small goals so we can accomplish em. haha.

Anyways, it's getting late. PEACE out.

  • UPDATE!

    WOO! Long time no update.

Wow, what a crazy week.  It was the first week back from Thanksgiving break.  I must say, break was such a relaxing time. I really wanted to just chill and take it easy, eat good food, hang out with friends and family, and that's exactly what I did. Not to mention, I did have an awesome night with JKJKJRM. A very eventful night....the ride back to SD was kinda crazy, It took liek 10 hours to get home. holly....

Anyways....  I was really trying to get back into studying mode...cus it is ninth week and all.... I received a call from my brother that he was going to be in LA on friday.  So, I drove to LA thursday night, hung out with winston and spent the night at his place, picked up my brother and brought him over to SD.  Then, that day, Bawoo called and said he was going to come to SD with michael later that night.  It was pretty exciting for my brother and my home boys to come all the way to SD.  I think I did a pretty decent job of just feeding my brother like crazy. Right when we got to SD, I took him to, my favorite, SUPER SERGIOS. Got some pollo asado fries and a burrito.  Then took him to Yogurt World, Hellz yea. For dinner we had the Famous Phil's BBQ everyone talks about. Wow, that place is money. It's SO good.

Got boba, hung out at In N Out with some hopers. Came back home. And my brother thought he lost his cell phone so we went all the way back to in n out to look for his phone....Turns out it was on my bed covered by the blanket the whole time. you dumb...jk  Then Jono and Mike got here aroun 12:40 am, so we went out to chill...like COLLEGE BOYS.

Okay, I kinda don't want to run through everything we did... But yeah it was fun hanging out with my brother in SD, showing him around my life and then hanging out with my homies.  With all this fun comes alot of consequences. I have alot of work to do and I really need to get my gears moving and studying my arse off this week.
    But whee, VERY good weekend.

2 more weeks until I'm back at home for the winter.

    Everyone, Study hard!

    p.s

    some random phone pics:

    Cant wait till christmas

Why would anyone buy this sweater? Thats me btw.

This is what happens when people fall asleep at geisel.
